How can high school students relax under the pressure from school?
As we all know, the high school curriculum is becoming increasingly tight-scheduled and pressuring. Thus it is not a surprise that many school aged children are constantly stressed and worried. However, it is important for them to relax from those stresses in order to achieve their academic potential.
The most beneficial and accessible way to relieve stress is through playing sport. It allows the students to have fun; increase their teamwork awareness and improve their health. Studies also show that students who exercise regularly are more likely to do well in school.

Other activities they can undertake include reading novels, watching some TV programs and socialise with friends. Playing computer games and indulgence in televised entertainment are not recommended. This is because they put a great burden on the eyes of the young students; and these forms of entertainment are usually so enticing that they draw students away from their school work.
Thus, students should relax via beneficial and productive means.
I am very disappointed not to be able to go to see a film with my friends, to play my favorite musical instrument, or to watch TV with my family in the evening. I have to sit at desk and do my homework, which can not be finished until midnight, I'm tired of doing much homework, get bored at taking so many exams, and lose interest in studying.
Teachers, please get rid of homework and examinations. Examinations are nothing but anxiety-makers. Homework is nothing but interest-killers.

Hello, everybody! We all know that now we students are all under stress because of the heavy school work ,which will surely affect our health both physically and mentally. So we should try to take some measures to deal with it . I have some suggestions .First I think we should take more exercise because regular and proper amount of exercise can reduce our stress. Second we can take more activities such as music club and ball teams . Music can relieve our anxiety and make us relaxed. Team work can develop our friendship and make us refresh ,which will ,to some degree ,contribute to our study. Finally we can find as many as opportunities to communicate with others and learn to share our feelings with others ,in which case we can broaden our mind and be cheerful . I think only by taking the above suggestions can we reduce our stress . We can have a try. That's all .Thank you!
Recently I have had a discussion about The Ways for Students to Relax with Terry, a student from Class One Grade Two . (As we study too long every day, every student should choose ways to relax.) In his opinion, the best ways are watching TV and playing computer games. He also believes that sometimes hanging out with friends isn't a bad way.
However, I'm not quite agree with him. In my opinion, watching TV or playing computer games is not a good way to help us relax. I think listening to music and playing sports are good ways because they can help us keep healthy. I often play Pingpong after class and I find it really helpful to both my health and my study. Besides, I think chatting with our friends isn't a bad way. I think it can help me get on better with my friends.
