首先这首歌曲的mv并不是个单独的故事，主要想表达的是阿姆和59两个人的生活历程
首先是阿姆，曲子开始是slim shady时期，也就是8年前阿姆在自己家中的情形，为此阿姆还刻意染回了金发，穿上自己8年前纽约演唱会的服装，还原了自己家中的装饰。
渐渐我们看到阿姆表现出对自己当时生活的烦躁和厌倦，于是他无意中走进了那个地下，这里代表了05-09年阿姆退出乐坛，开始吸毒，混沌的生活，然后就是一段凭借微弱的火光的摸索，在曲子最后阿姆从地下走出，反映自己获得新生，同时我们可以发现阿姆的头发变回现在的黑色，服装也是近来常穿的黑夹克，面对着眼前的灯火（孔明灯）意味着自己将会用自己的声音点亮世界
59的就比较简单了，59在很早以前和阿姆有过瓜葛，后来就一蹶不振，在底特律四处游荡，他用把自己关在监狱中表答自己那一段时间的失败，自己被自己所拘束，然后摸索同上，接着走出来遇见阿姆面对火光，代表他们现在一起合作，成立组合必将取得成功，也暗语自己的复活

lighters这首歌本身eminem部分没有什么亮点，火星哥的唱功遮住了姆哥大部分光芒，所以说这首歌应该不算是eminem最好听的歌，不过个人有不同的口味，关键还是自己爱听，个人认为when i’m gone和lose yourself比较不错
